The "Rete Amica" project is promoted by the Municipality of Pontecchio Polesine (RO) in collaboration with the SmileAfrica Onlus Association of Rovigo.
The need for the service arose during the recent Covid-19 health emergency, in the awareness that a prolonged period of social isolation can be a reason for stress, fragility and apprehension, especially for the most fragile or lonely people.
Hence the desire to offer citizens the opportunity to take advantage of a moment of listening and dialogue with a suitably trained volunteer and the opportunity to speak directly with a psychologist, to help in the emotional management of this moment of health emergency.
The project involves the involvement of volunteers from the SmileAfrica Onlus association, as well as a professional, who will respond on set days and at scheduled times.
