This project is addressed at youngsters with learning difficulties and slight disabilities attending secondary school of first and second level of the province of Rovigo. The project was carried out by professional educators and active volunteer partners of Smile Africa Onlus and it took place at the Association itself, where after school activities were carried out. In addition to providing children with homework support, this project allows to improve their learning method, their cognitive abilities and to strengthen the individual's skills, linked to communication and socialization. Moreover, the project involves a theatre workshop which promoted the improvement of the self-confidence, the recognition and the management of the emotions, the development of the expressive abilities, and the team's spirit. The project, which involved the Provincial Board of Education and the Educational Network "Well-being", was carried out thanks to professional educators, a psychologist and the help of volunteers and trainees of the Smile Africa Onlus Association and their relevant partners. The youngsters, who participated to the project "Together Creatively", staged at its end, the play "The turn of the world in 80 days", a famous novel by Giulio Verne.
