The project "Qua la zampa!" ("Happy Paws"), which is addressed at young disabled people in school-age, involves a series of activities carried on by the petting zoo "Sirio Lupo Celeste" of Fratta Polesine (Rovigo), and the headquarter of the association Smile Africa Onlus. Thanks to the valuable contribution offered by the operators of the petting zoo who are skilled in this field, and to the collaboration of the volunteers of Smile Africa, it was possible to organize the following activities of socialization, enhancement of the self-confidence and stimulation of teenagers' abilities, such as: educational workshops of pet-therapy with animals (care, cleaning and nutrition), activities of onotherapy, labs approaching the care of flowers and plants, manual labs (woods and paper processing) and expressive labs.
